A man was found fatally stabbed in the Bronx, police said.
Cops responding to a call shortly before 8 p.m. Friday of an assault inside 418 East 148th Street, near Brook Avenue in Mott Haven found the victim, 40, stabbed in the torso inside the vestibule, authorities said.
The man was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The man was on his way to a check cashing place on Bergen Avenue and East 148th Street “and he was apparently chased by an unknown individual and found stabbed,” an NYPD spokesman told The Post on Saturday.
