A group of masked Halloween ghouls pretended they were trick-or-treating in Brooklyn — only to pull a gun on a man and beat him when he opened his door and gave them candy, cops said Monday.

Video released by the NYPD shows a man and woman dressed head to toe in costume sheets with hoods and scary masks — while toting lit-up goodie bags with a pumpkin face on them — outside the home near Lake Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Greenpoint around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The footage shows the man ringing the bell and he and his accomplice shoving their bags inside the door, with the 37-year-old resident dropping candy in them, cops said.

The costumed creep then whips out a gun and pushes his way inside the home as the woman scurries off — and another male suspect, whose face is also covered, rushes up to help his cohort apparently try to rob the victim.

Both male attackers punched the victim in the face in front of his wife and young son, police said.

“As the victim struggled to keep the [first male] individual out, a second male ran up to the door and also tried to push his way past the victim,” cops said in a release. “The males punched the victim in the face repeatedly during the incident.”

The victim was able to eventually push both males out of his home and lock his door.
